I've had the pleasure of riding bikes all my life and have experienced many brands and models. I have also had a custom Harley Fatboy and Springer. I had been a true Harley enthusiast for many years and never thought I would go back to the metric bike again. It was by chance that I found and became a proud owner of the Roadstar.

On the very day that I was to pick up my new pearl white 2000 Fatboy, a biker friend told me about a new Yamaha that was coming out that mirrored the Harley fatboy, V Twin, belt drive, and so on. Of course, my first reaction was, "No way. It can't possibility compare or look as good." Thanks to his persistence and my curiosity, I decided to drop by the local Yamaha dealer on the way to get my Harley.

Well, all I can say was I never made it to the Haley dealership, and that was the best detour I've ever taken. I could not be happier with this bike, the look, ride, maintenance, and the overall respect and individuality I feel riding this gem. I placed her in every show I've entered her in--she wins or places every time even against the very bike that almost passed her over. Because it's an MM, I've made the choice not the hop the engine or customize her paint.
